Chairman of the Jury

Pavel Gintov (USA - Ukraine)

Concert pianist. Graduated from Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Manhattan School of Music (New York, USA), where he received a PhD in Music. He is a winner of many international competitions and a scholarship holder of various foundations, including scholarships from the Shevchenko Scientific Society (New York, USA). He actively promotes Ukrainian music in the world, performing it in concert, and released a CD dedicated to the works of Serhiy Bortkevych. Pavel has performed in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the USA, on the stages of Kyiv Philharmonic Hall, Carnegie Hall in New York, Berlin Philharmonic Hall, Verdi National Theater in Milan, the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Kioi Hall in Tokyo, and other concert halls around the world. His performances are broadcast by WFMT in Chicago, WCLV in Cleveland, WPR in Wisconsin, and other radio and television stations in Japan, America, Russia, and Ukraine.

Iryna Belova (Ukraine)

Iryna Belova is an accomplished piano teacher. Graduated from the National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music in Kyiv and currently works at Kyiv Kholodna Children’s School of Music #26. Her students have received awards at international piano competitions in Belgium, Czech Republic, and Ukraine. They continue their education and currently work and study in Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Iryna chaired and was a member of the Jury at Ars Nova International Music Competition (Trieste, Italy - 2007, 2013) in Piano Solo and Chamber Music. She performed in a piano duet with the soloist of the Minsk State Philharmonic, Valery Borovikov (Belarus).

Olena Bondarenko (Ukraine)

An educator and methodologist of R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, Olena graduated from Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory. Her students include winners of international competitions, teachers of Ukrainian music colleges and schools, pianists, composers. Olena created one of the piano programmes for the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. She also developed special techniques and methods for pianists with professional musculoskeletal injuries.

Tanja Bosman (Netherlands)

Tanja Bosman is a solo and ensemble pianist, and piano teacher. Graduated from the National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music in Kyiv. She worked at the Allegro School in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) as Head of the Piano Department. Performed with the world-famous violinist, Tomislav Dimov, as part of the concert programme of the Chopin Society in Malaysia (Persutan Chopin Malaysia). She was invited to the University of Dunaújváros (Hungary) to develop a piano curriculum for children with speech impairments. Since 2011, she resides in the Netherlands. Currently, Tanja works as a soloist in the Crystal trio, performs as part of the vocal Kandinsky Duo, the Dialoog duo, and is a resident accompanist of the Sursum Corda choir.

Roman Repka (Ukraine)

Roman is a pianist and music educator maintaining an active performance schedule. Graduated from the National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music in Kyiv. He is the winner of national and international competitions, and a member of the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA). Roman collaborated with ensembles, Kyiv and Ricochet, performed in various chamber ensembles, as well as with orchestras. He recorded several CDs dedicated to the works by Skoryk, Silvestrov, and others. He participated in many festivals of classical and contemporary music, and currently works as a soloist of NEW ERA ORCHESTRA, as well as the founder and leader of Weber Ensemble Kyiv.

Elena Tolstykh (Austria)

Elena studied at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and the Georg August University of Göttingen (Germany). She holds a PhD in Art History and is the Artistic Director and organizer of the International FEURICH Competition (Vienna, Austria). Elena is also the founder and Head of the Vienna Summer Academy of Music and the Spielstatt Music School (Vienna), as well as a piano teacher.
