Dear community,

IX Chestnut Piano International Festival shall be postponed until further notice.

Today is the 8th day of war on the Ukrainian land. The army of the Russian Federation crossed the border of our country and is destroying our cities and villages. The heroic Ukrainian army and all of us, the Ukrainian people, are fighting against the enemy. We strongly condemn the aggression and war crimes of Russia against the Ukrainian people and ask all of you:

We do not believe in “art outside politics”, therefore we clearly state our position and send the Russian warship to its extremely popular destination.

We believe in our victory! Glory to Ukraine!

Welcome to the official website of the Chestnut Piano International Festival!

Our aim is to provide opportunities for both professional and amateur pianists, young and adult, to showcase their skills and perform on the big stage.

Our story

The story of our festival began in Kyiv back in May 2013 when Chestnut Piano became the first ever competition for piano amateurs held in Ukraine.

Our competitions

We invite young pianists, piano amateurs of any age, and piano teachers to participate in the following competitions:

  • Competition for Young Pianists

  • Competition for Piano Amateurs

  • Competition for Piano Teachers: The Art of Performance
